A status Orange Snow and Ice warning for County Tipperary has been issued by Met Eireann.
The warning also includes counties Clare, Limerick, Cork and Waterford and will come into effect at midnight tonight and be in place until noon tomorrow. Met Eireann says significant snowfall accumulations are expected. This could make travelling difficult due to poor visibility and difficult conditions underfoot.
This Orange warning for snow and ice overlaps with a status yellow warning for low temperatures and ice for all of Ireland in effect from 8pm tonight until 10am tomorrow.
