Three Tipperary club hurling teams were in action over the weekend in the Munster Championships.
In the Junior semi-final Moyle Rovers were defeated on Saturday on a score of Moyle Rovers 13 to Russell Rovers from Cork’s total of 3 -13.
Tipperary Premier Intermediate Champions Cashel King Cormacs qualified for a Munster final by defeating Abbedorney the Kerry champs on a score of Cashel 3 -16 to Abbeydorney 1 -14 Cashel will take on Watergrasshill from Cork in the Munster Final on November 30th with the venue yet to be fixed.
There was defeat for Loughmore Castleiney in the Senior Club championship semi-final. Ballygunner from Waterford won on a score line of Loughmore Castleiney 1 – 16 to Ballygunner 1 – 26.
Three Tipperary football champions take part in Munster semi-finals next weekend. Intermediate Champions Aherlow Lattin take on Shannon in Lattin on Sunday at 1pm, Cashel King Cormacs Junior team take on Kilmurrey from Cork in New Inn on Saturday at 1pm and Loughmore Castleiney Senior Footballers will take on Eire Og from Clare in Ennis on Sunday at 1pm.
