A new business is proposed for Boherlahan Village. The village shop has been closed for some time and the new owner is seeking planning permission for a major upgrade and expansion.
LMP Developments is hoping to provide an upgraded shop including an Off-Licence and a fuel station. In addition to selling diesel and petrol the developer is also seeking permission for a car wash facility to the rear of the shop. The planning application also seeks retention permission for a shed at the rear of the premises.
The applicant is a local businessman who has recently purchased the property and hopes that the outlet will support the local community and provide employment.
Tipperary County Council is considering the planning application at present and submissions can be made up to December 12th . The Planning Authority will issue a decision by January 11th. The reference number on the application is 24256
