Over 248 customers of ESB networks were without power in Tipperary town today due to two different issues – a daylong planned outage and an unplanned outage that has now been resolved. A fault that began just before 9am affected 201 customers in The Rosanna Road/St Michael’s Avenue area. Power was restored to these customers just before 11am.
In addition to the outage issue there is a day long planned outage affecting 48 customers in the Pearse Park and Blackthorn Grove/Cashel Road area. This outage is due to planned maintenance work and customers were notified two weeks ago that they will be without power until approximately 5.30pm today.
