Businesses in Tipperary are being encouraged to sign up for the new Power Up Grant announced in the Budget.
Retail and hospitality businesses with a rateable valuation of up to €30,000 are eligible for the grant scheme which is administered by Tipperary County Council. A business in the hospitality, retail and beauty sector must have received the second Increase in Cost of Business(ICOB) Grant payment last year in order to be eligible for the €4,000 Power Up grant.
The closing date to apply is now extended to November 22nd and the Government is anxious to have the payments processed before year end for all successful applicants. Businesses can register at this link here.
The Power Up grant has a budget of €170 million and is aimed at supporting Small and Medium Enterprises in the hospitality, retail and beauty sectors deal with increasing costs of operation.
