There was good news for 7 Tipperary sports clubs who learned yesterday they are to receive funding under the Sports Capital Grant Programme. The clubs had appealed the decisions on their initial applications and will now share a total of 1.15M euros.
Cappawhite GAA Club is awarded €143,168, Ballycommon – Muintir na Tire Hall €134,000 while BT Harps Soccer Club in Templemore are approved for €357,000 which is an increase on the previous award.
Nenagh Éire Óg GAA Club secured €162,000, Drom & Inch GAA Club €146,000,
Ballinderry Sports Field in conjunction with Shannon Rovers GAA Club €146,000 and Moycarkey Coolcroo Athletic Club is allocated €59,000.
