Uisce Eireann customers in Tipperary town face further disruption today due to a burst water main in the Cashel road area. This is a separate issue that follows a burst pipe on Saturday that was repaired yesterday. Areas affected today include Father Matthew Terrace, Father Matthew Street, Dundrum Road, Cashel Road, Tipperary Town and surrounding areas.
Uisce Eireann hopes to have the repairs completed by 6pm this evening. The company says it will then take 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
Uisce Eireann now offers a text alert service for customers for any outage – planned or unplanned – that will last for four or more hours – registration is available on the water.ie website by entering the customer’s mobile phone number and Eircode. The customer care service at Uisce Eireann can be contacted at 1 800 278 278.
