Gardaí arrested four people in Roscrea yesterday. As part of ongoing investigations targeting criminal activity in the county a planned arrest operation was conducted in the Roscrea area on by Gardaí attached to the Tipperary Crime Functional Area.
Those arrested includes one male in his teens, two in their 20s and one man in his 70s. The four men were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Garda stations in County Tipperary. The men were due to appear at a sitting of Limerick District court last evening.
Gardaí say their investigation is ongoing.
