Drivers in the Tipperary town area are advised of one day of temporary traffic management at the junction of Main Street, the N24, and two local roads – Bridge Street and Davis Street.
Tipperary County Council says the traffic lights at the junction are to be upgraded and the works will take place on Wednesday November 6th. Drivers on the N24, R497 and R664 are being given advance notice of the temporary traffic management at the busy junction from 8.00am until 5pm on Wednesday November 6th.Drivers are warned to expect delays and should avoid the area if possible on Wednesday. The lights have malfunctioned on several occasions in recent months causing concerns about the safety of all road users.
