23 Community Facilities across county Tipperary have been allocated funds under the Community Centre Investment fund.
Tipperary town Community Services Centre is allocated €21,000 for fire safety improvements. Other local recipients include Kilfeacle Community Association and Tennis Club awarded €19,321, Dundrum Community Hall €22,616, Burncourt Community Centre €20,352, Drombane Hall €23,680 and two venues in Holycross – the Community Hall is allocated €14,250 for five new doors while Holycross Ballycahill soccer club secured €17 502 for solar panel installation to make their building more energy efficient.
Tipperary TD Michael Lowry is welcoming the funding allocation of €150,000 to the county.
