The Pallas Bar and Bistro is to be closed for several weeks due to fire damage on Wednesday night.
The fire began at approximately 9.45pm. Fire units from Cappamore and Tipperary town responded to the fire with crews on site until approximately 1am.
The hugely popular business was closed when the fire broke out and although there is extensive damage no injuries are reported. The business has 25 staff and owner Willie Crowe says the Pallas Bar and Bistro remains committed to its staff and customers. The Pallas Bar owner is apologising for having to cancel bookings over the next couple of weeks as the damage is assessed and work is undertaken to be able to resume operations. Mr Crowe is also extending thanks to the Fire Service and those that assisted on Wednesday night.
