Cashel will hold a St Patrick’s Day Parade next year.
Cllr Declan Burgess confirmed the news saying that it would take place on Sunday (March 16th) at 12:30pm.
The parade theme is “Renewal & Revival” and organsing committee is inviting all local schools, groups and clubs to participate in this community celebration event.
Those participating are encouraged to interpret the theme any way they wish.
The committee has met a number of times recently to work on bringing back a parade, after a family fun day celebration of the national day took place on the Plaza instead of a parade last March.
While the parade entry and further information will be announced soon.
