Tipperary town is to get into the Halloween spirit next week in collaboration with the Creative Places Programme.
Over the last month Creative Places has been working with lots of community groups to create scarecrows that will be on display in shop windows and public spaces around town. The scarecrows will be going into the shop windows on Monday afternoon next and the local Business Marketing Group are inviting people to vote for their favourite scarecrow. Voting will be managed by the tipperarytown.ie website and the winning community organisation whose scarecrow is the favourite will win a €100 voucher to spend in local shops.
Creative Places is also working with local schools for a Halloween themed broadcast during the Mid Term Break.
