Problems persist for Uisce Eireann Customers on the Horse and Jockey Supply and in Ardfinnan.
Uisce Éireann is not yet in a position to lift the Boil Water Notice currently in place for the Horse and Jockey Public Water Supply. The notice was first issued on September 3rd and affects approximately 600 customers. The company says that the raw water is not of good quality with too many particles in it that affect the water treatment process.
As a result, the Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until further notice.
Uisce Éireann says it is working to lift the notice as quickly as possible.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communication regarding Boil Water Notices. Customers are reminded that the water is safe to consume once boiled.
