Sinn Féin President Calls For Certainty Around Funding For Tipp Town Bypass

The Sinn Fein President says there should be no differentiation between Adare and Tipperary Town when it comes to a new bypass as that’s not fair.

It follows previous reports that the government approved plans late last year to accelerate Adare Bypass construction ahead of the 2027 Ryder Cup.

Mary Lou McDonald says the bypass for Tipperary Town has been a long running saga and believes the government needs to stop the uncertainty around funding for the major project.

Deputy McDonald is critical of the decades of promises and feels that one of the frustrations when it comes to infrastructure is there’s a lot of planning but not much on delivery of projects.
