A consultant is warning that Tipperary children are missing out on vital paediatric care.
The Irish Examiner is reporting the comments were made at the Irish Hospital Consultants Association annual conference on Saturday.
The consultant says she only holds two clinics a month due to space pressures despite “begging” for more rooms.
The consultant says her waiting times are 6 to 9 months and also invited Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly to visit Clonmel.
Its reported there was heated exchanges where many similar problems were discussed with the Health Minister who defended his plans for increased productivity.
