A video for a song by local man Martin Dillion will be released on YouTube today(Friday October 11th) at 4pm at this link here here
The video will feature scenes from the Rock an Thorabh area in the Glen of Aherlow alongside other scenes from Killaloe and Limerick.
The song is called The Shining Light and also features vocals from Oonagh O’Malley – although the female featured in the video is Aoibheann McKnight.
Martin is the grandson of the late Danny Ryan from the famous Music Shop in Tipperary town and is currently studying for a Masters in Education at University of Limerick where he previously completed his undergraduate studies in Music.
Last month Martin launched the new song as a single and the track is also included on a five track EP of original compositions that are now available from the music streaming platform Spotify.
The song The Shining Light can also be purchased at Danny Ryan’s Music Shop at Bank Place in Tipperary town in CD format.
