Four Local Causes To Benefit From Memorial Tractor & Truck Run In Tipperary This Weekend

Four local causes are to benefit from a Tractor, Truck and Car run starting in Tipperary town on Sunday.

The event is being held in memory of two local men – the late Alan Ryan and the late Micko Heffernan. Registration will begin at 10.30am at the premises of Cleanline Farm services on O’Brien street, patrons can park in Cleanline at the Moorehaven Centre or on O’Brien street.

The four beneficiaries are Scoil Aonghusa in Cashel, the CJ Kickham Band in Tipperary town and smaller donations will be made to the Spafield Family Resource Centre and the Moorehaven Centre for people with disabilities. 

The band will lead off the run at approximately 12.30pm – tractors will travel to Lattin, Kilross, Mount Bruis and back to Tipperary. Trucks and cars will take a longer route to Cahir, Cashel and back to Tipperary town.

The afternoon events at Roches Pub will include a raffle,  a BBQ  and an auction of trailers of fuel and some mystery items. The organisers are encouraging people to take part or to attend the afternoon events with all vehicles expected to be back in Tipperary town by 2pm.
