A Meeting held in Cashel on Wednesday to revitalise the St Patrick’s Day celebrations was well attended and a further meeting is now planned for October 23rd. This meeting will be held in Brosnans Bar at 8pm.
In a post shared on social media the Cashel St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee says there were many passionate people with ideas for 2025 at the meeting. The group decided to set up sub groups to work on the parade at the next meeting after which more details of the plans for 2025 will be released.Tipperary County Council provides grant aid for such events which will open for applications later this month and close for applications in February 2025 and in addition many Parades attract sponsorship from local businesses. The Committee says anyone interested in Cashel St Patrick’s Day Celebrations in 2025 are welcome to attend the next meeting on October 23rd. St Patrick’s Day in 2025 will fall on a Monday giving scope for a weekend of events.
