Operational Issues At Water Treatment Plant Cause Outages For Ardfinnan Regional Water Supply Scheme

Uisce Éireann is offering an explanation for outages for customers served by the Ardfinnan Regional Water Supply Scheme. Operational issues at the water treatment plant resulted in reservoir levels depleting to low levels. 

The issues at the treatment plant have been addressed and it is now fully operational. Some customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or interruption to supply until late this evening  – Ardfinnan, Goatenbridge, Grange, Knocklofty, Newcastle, Ballyclerihan, Barne, Marlfield, Rathkeevin, Newchapel, Loughloher, Cranna, Kilcommon, Ballyea, Magherareagh and Castlegrace. 

The Graigue Group Water scheme supplied by Ardfinnan RWSS is also affected.
