Meeting To Be Held In Cashel Tonight For The 2025 Cashel St Patrick’s Day Parade Preparations

A meeting is being held in Cashel tonight to make preparations for the 2025 Cashel St Patrick’s Day Parade.

The meeting is being organised by the existing St Patrick’s Day committee which is Chaired by Sean Laffey and Councillor Declan Burgess serves as Committee Secretary. The meeting agenda includes Finance, Administration and Logistics.

Cashel Councillor Liam Browne describes the meeting as an open meeting to bring back a St Patrick’s Day Parade to Cashel in 2025. In 2024 a static St Patrick’s Day celebration was held on the Plaza and Councillor Browne believes the town needs to avail of the opportunity presented by St Patrick’s day to attract visitors and launch the 2025 tourism season.

Councillor Browne is appealing for people with energy and ideas who want to be involved in celebrating St Patrick’s Day in Cashel to attend – the appeal extends to people living in villages and rural areas around Cashel.

The meeting is set to begin at 8pm and will be held in the function room at Brosnan’s Bar.
