Two local Charities are to benefit from a variety concert held in The Marian Hall, Tipperary town last month. St Vincent’s Day Care centre in Tipperary town and the Children’s Grief Centre in Limerick will each receive €1,500.
The event was the 40th such concert under the leadership of Anne O’Dwyer. Several well known local personalities and performers took part with the TV Licence Sketch featuring Esther Stokes,Patsy Hennessy and Jonas Callanan a personal highlight. The finale was a reprise of a segment first performed in 1984 to promote the message of Peace.
