Tipperary Town Golf Club is in line for a major award. The Club revealed yesterday that Tipperary Golf Club has won The Irish Golfers Guide “Hidden Gem Award” for Munster. This award will be presented by RTE in early December at a ceremony in Dundalk.
The Club was founded in 1896 and is now located on the south of Tipperary town at Rathanny. The course is well established as the Club has been in operation at the current location since 1939 having had 3 previous homes close to Tipperary town.
