A local entrepreneur is temporarily out of business after a break in on Saturday night/early Sunday morning.
The Ri Coffee truck located at Christ The King was broken into, some stock, a generator and a small amount of cash were stolen.
The thieves damaged the vehicle to gain access and the owner says the gas stock was also interfered with and may also have been targeted by the culprits.
The generator is a Loncin Inverter 3500-watt generator and is valued at €2,000.
The owner/operator says Tipperary town Gardai are now investigating the robbery.
It is thought the incident occurred sometime from late Saturday night into early on Sunday morning.
The owner and her daughter had been operating at the location at weekends and also trading at other locations and events mid-week. Until repairs are completed and a new generator is secured they are out of business.
Sharing the details on Social Media the owner says they are “heartbroken that this could happen to their little business” but also want to acknowledge the support and kindness of their customers and friends since the incident.
