273

A number of roads in the Nire Valley were impassable and closed yesterday due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall in the Comeragh Mountains.

The main Clonmel to Dungarvan road is now reopened after being closed yesterday due to flooding at Ballymaccarbry.

Tipperary Town Garda report that there are no local road closures due to weather related damage.

The bad weather also caused the cancellation of Bingo in Tipp Town last night as a safety precaution for buses travelling to the weekly event.

There are no weather warnings in place for any part of Ireland today.
