The community of St Michael’s church in Tipperary town is to host a Mission starting on Sunday September 22nd.
The Mission is titled “A Time for New Beginnings” and will be led by Fr Larry Gallagher, Redemptorist, alongside two lay persons.
The Mission will begin on Sunday afternoon with a Camino in the Tipperary Hills, a public park on the west side of Tipperary town – commencing at 2.30pm from the Pitch and Putt Club carpark.
The Walk will pause for moments of reflection as it progresses through the pathways of the Park.
The Mission will have an evening service at 7.30pm each day from Sunday to Friday that will be an opportunity to learn and share aspects of the Catholic Faith – each evening has a different theme and will be a ceremony of participation with a range of special events including elements of drama to provide a stimulating experience.
The church will offer Mass each morning at 10.15am from Monday September 23rd until Friday(September 27th) the final day of the Mission.
