Gardaí are appealing for information on a particular car which is alleged to be involved in a number of burglaries in West Tipperary.
Inspector James White says there’s been an increase of cash and jewellery being stolen in recent weeks.
Inspector White says the car is a black Volkswagen Golf, high power type, with a factory fitted twin exhaust in the rear of the vehicle which is located in the centre.
The local Inspector is urging householders to hide jewellery in places where it would be difficult to find for a burglar and to secure and check windows and doors.
People are advised to contact their local Garda station if they see the vehicle straightaway.
