The River Suir featured on prime time British television last night.
The TV show World’s Most Scenic River Journeys showcased the local River on Channel 5.
The one hour long episode which is narrated by Bill Nighy begins at the headwaters in Devil’s Bit Mountain, and it also features the towns/villages of Golden, Cahir, Clonmel and Carrick on Suir.
The episode highlights the history along the River Suir, Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage with wonderful drones footage throughout the episode.
