Tipperary town is offering multiple events for Culture Night on September 20th – dozens of events are planned across the county with full details of events in Cashel, Cahir, Thurles, Nenagh, Clonmel, Roscrea and Templemore available at this link here.
Culture Night is funded by the Arts Council to provide free access to a range of creative and cultural events and activities. Cashel Comhaltas group are performing in Bru Boru between 7pm and 10pm.
The Creative Places Programme in Tipperary town is hosting an evening of creativity in their new venue on Bridge Street between 5 and 8pm.
Friday visitors can enjoy an exhibition of art works(Marion Stern), two short films, produced locally – one from Tipperary teenagers and one from adults with disabilities, screened on a loop and textile artist Gemma Morris is seeking participants for a collaborative textile artwork.
Tipperary Library is offering four events on Friday beginning at 1pm with the launch of “Real Me” – ten life Story Books by local adults with disabilities, at 4pm Sarah Croker is offering a free puppet show, at 4.30pm Joanne Ryan is hosting a felting workshop and at 6.30pm Children’s Author Kieran Crowley( The Mighty Dragon and The Santa List) will read some of his work. The night concludes with a musical performance by Denis Ryan(Tipperary town).

The 6’s and 7’s Gallery on Davis Street, Tipperary town, is hosting an art exhibition of the works of local artists and owner Gerry Carew will give a workshop on gold leaf plating on 3 D objects, paper and canvas 7pm – 10pm.
St Ailbe’s school is the venue for the Ryan Youth Orchestra recital at 8pm.
At 8pm in the Marian Hall there is a superb Variety Concert in aid of St Vincent’s Day Care Centre and The Children’s Grief Centre in Limerick
