The village market Holycross on September 28th with children’s entertainement. Proceeds & Voluntary donations in aid of Holycross Tidy Village. We go indoors from September 28th, 12 noon to 3pm, in St. Michaels Community Centre. The talented Konor will entertain children with games, a puppet show, balloon making and much more. Coffee, crafts, bakes, art, cut flowers and plants, you will be spoiled for choice. A local trader Max, will provide delicious Italian street food. Students, traders and musicians welcome. Ballyhoura Development together with Music Generation Limerick County and Friars Gate Theater are pleased to host free Music camps this autumn for children aged 8 – 10 years old. These free music camps will offer a musical and creative enviroment to children interested in music, regardless of their previous knowledge. The music camps will take place on Thursday 31st October & Friday 1st November 2024 in The Friar’s Gate Theatre, Kilmallock from 10am to 2pm. Caherconlish Sessuins are returning on Wednesday 18th September at 8.30pm in the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.

Tipperary Town A.A Group are hosting a public open meeting on Friday 27th September in the Tipperary Community Services Centre. Entrance to the meeting will be from the Blind Street entrance at the back of the building.

Bewleys big coffee morning and raffle for Hospice will be held in the C.J. Kickham Band Hall, Davis Street, Tipperary Town, on Thursday 26th September from 10am – 1pm. Every euro raised locally stays locally in aid of South Tipperary Hospice Movement.

As a fundraiser for Burncourt Community Hall we are holding a “Preloved Fashion” event in our community hall on Saturday 21st September and Sunday 22nd September from 2pm to 7pm each day. This will be a Pop-Up Clothes and Accessories Market. Special Guest will be Lynda Gardiner, Colour Consultant from 3pm to 5pm each day. Please come along to support and grab a bargain!

The Trip to Tipp Charity cycle on Sunday September 29th! Starting from the Ursuline Sports Complex in Thurles, this annual cycle in aid of Vision Ireland give you the option to cycle, walk or run. Tipperary Musical Society present “Puttin on the Hitz” A fundraising concert at The Great Ballykisteen Hotel, Tipperary on Saturday 12th October at 8pm. Soul Song: Creative places, Tipperary Town. An exhibition by Marion Stern. Opening at Creative Places, 1 Bridge Street, Town Lot, Tipperary, E34 XY99. An amalgamation of the visual arts & music.
