Uisce Eireann is giving notice of a water supply outage this evening(Monday 16th Sept.) in Tipperary Town and surrounding areas. The company says essential works this evening will disrupt water supply from 7pm to 11pm.
Normal supply should return 2 – 3 hours after the works are completed.
The areas affected by the outage include Cashel Road, Dundrum Road, Rossmore Village, St Michael’s Avenue, Cannon Hayes Complex, Marian Terrace, James Connolly Park, Avondale, Rosanna Rd, Father Matthew Terrace and surrounding areas.
Up to 450 customers may be impacted by water interruptions and low pressure.
Uisce Eireann says “every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
Uisce Éireann now offers a free text service, providing real-time updates for local issues. Customers can sign up with their Eircode and mobile number on the company website water.ie – the customer care centre is also available 24 hours every day by calling 1800 278 278.
