Three organisation in County Tipperary have been allocated a total almost €185,000 under the Clár programme.
The stream of funding announced today provides funding for vehicles to assist with mobility, transport for cancer care, Meals on Wheels and Community First Responders.
The Irish Red Cross in Tipperary is allocated €50,000 for a new diesel vehicle, Fethard & District Day Care Centre is allocated €90,041 also for a diesel vehicle to support people receiving Cancer Care while the Irish Wheelchair Association in south Tipperary is allocated €44,768 for a new wheelchair accessible vehicle including clamping equipment.
Nationally a total of €2.1 million is allocated to fund a total of 48 new vehicles for eligible groups.
