Knockanrawley Resource Centre in Tipperary town is to host a Community Picnic and information event today(Wednesday) between 11.30am and 3pm.
There will be information stands on employment, education, health and wellbeing, amongst others. The event is also an opportunity for people to learn about the range of services and supports at Knockanrawley Resource Centre which provides a broader range of services than Family Resource centres.
The Centre is also inviting people to enjoy refreshments during the event and to visit the Organic Community Garden at the facility. Knockanrawley also hosts the Tipperary Men’s Shed and offers a childcare facility, counselling, Disability Employment programmes, Education and Training programmes and a range of social inclusion and wellbeing services.
