A 5km run will take place on Sunday September 15th starting in Lisvernane Community Centre. The Glen 5k offers a number of fun events for families after the race which starts at 12 noon. Online registration is now available with an early bird special offer available and also an option to purchase a raffle ticket. Book Launch: Tom Wood will launch his latest book on the gravestone inscriptions in Cashel in the Cathedral Church, John Street on Wednesday 11th September at 8pm. The work, in progress of 1,000 gravestones, is dedicated to all those men, women and children, who made the Cashel graveyards their last resting place. The book is printed by Lion Print and every one is invited to the launch.
