Knockavilla Community Council is hosting an information event tonight(Tuesday Sept.10th) in Knockavilla Hall. The event will begin at 8pm and is an opportunity to learn about the range of services and support offered by the Circle of Friends Cancer Support centre in Tipperary town.
The event is aimed at people who may have a cancer diagnosis, their family and friends.
The Circle of Friends centre offers a range of supports that can be helpful at various stages of a person’s experience with the illness including counseling, men’s and women’s groups, complementary therapies such as acupuncture, reflexology and bra prosthesis fittings.
Group activities such as Mindfulness, Gardening, Singing and Furniture restoration are also options for those attending the Circle of Friends located in Knockanrawley, Tipperary town at E34 XD51. Telephone 062 33550.
