In the United States two teenage boys have been arrested by police in Kansas city investigating the fatal shooting of 45 year old Nenagh man Shaun Brady.
The chef was shot and killed near his restaurant as it is understood that he tried to intervene when the youths were breaking into a car.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Brady, a father of two by the city’s Irish community and t also by the Mayor of Kansas Quinton Lucas.
Mr Brady met his American wife, Kate, when she was traveling in Ireland some years ago.
Mr Brady was heavily involved in the Kansas city Irish Fest and well-known in the city as he frequently appeared on local TV.
The festival which is scheduled for this weekend will go ahead as planned this weekend with tributes being planned to honour Mr Brady’s memory.
