Cashel Arts Festival 2024 will feature a range of attractive events and performers. The festival programme was officially launched last night by Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Cllr Declan Burgess at Cashel Library. The festival takes place from the 12th- 15th September. Lisa Hannigan, Garron Noone, Castle String Quartet are listed to perform while Gary Younge will give the Bolton Lecture on September 14th in St John’s Cathedral.
A special memoir project will also feature this year and three excerpts were read last night by writers, Tom Wood, Oliver Corbett and Julia Adamczak. The festival also features a number of workshops from crafts to choral singing and a day of street entertainment and food options on Sunday September 15th at the Plaza.
This year’s Festival brochure, featuring a cover photo by Dermot O’Halloran and designed by Lisa Manton reflects the wide range of events for all ages and will be available in local shops in the coming days.
