Three Tipperary bars have been recognised at the Bar of the Year Awards with the Guinness Bar in the Cashel Palace Hotel one of 16 finalists in the award for Five Star Hotel Bar of the Year – the title went to the Merchant Hotel in Antrim.
Mikey Ryan’s Bar & Kitchen in Cashel was awarded the silver medal for best Gastro Bar, the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh won the silver medal for Best Hotel Bar while Gatsby’s Cocktail Bar, located overhead Bodega 1830 in Clonmel was the Bronze Winner in the Best Newcomer category.
The Paladar in Cork was named Bar of the Year for the second time at the gala Ceremony held in the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road.
