A new retail unit has come into operation at the Tipperary Town Shopping centre. A local branch of Speed Queen Ireland chain of self service launderettes is now open at unit one which had previously been used as a hair salon. The unit will be open from 7am to 10pm seven days a week. This is the company’s third outlet in county Tipperary with units already in operation in Cashel and Clonmel.
The laundrette will feature a Dedicated Pet Zone for the exclusive use for the laundry of pet items. The company is also offering customers the benefits of using an app to book and track their laundry. The new tenant is the second in recent months to join the Tipperary Town Shopping Centre with the opening of the Card Factory retail outlet last month.
A number of other retail units are to open on Main Street Tipperary town in the coming weeks including a new nail salon, a new sweet and vape shop and a new bistro restaurant with another ethnic restaurant also said to be in development. The former Quik Pick Outlet in the old post office building has been renovated and will soon be relaunched the latest branch of the Mace retail brand
