Tipperary Rose Tara Brady Excels In Rose Of Tralee TV Interview

Tipperary Rose Tara Brady was very well received at last night’s Rose of Tralee TV interview. Tara, from Ballina, played the spoons on stage and danced as she is a traditional musician and champion Irish dancer.

The title went to New Zealand Rose Keely O’Grady a 21-year-old Speech and Language Therapy student at Canterbury University.  During her own interview, the 64th Rose of Tralee Festival winner wore a traditional Maori jacket to represent her complete heritage and says she is so proud to become only the second ever New Zealand Rose to win the coveted title.

2023 winner Roisin Wiley from New York was on hand for the announcement as the  four judges – fashion designer Don O’Neill, 1998 Rose of Tralee Luzveminda O’Sullivan, broadcaster Ollie Turner and RTÉ Weather and Lotto presenter Nuala Carey revealed their decision.
