Applications have now opened for the Cashel Lions Club Corby Meaney College Bursaries to assist students in the first year of a third level or further education course from September 2024.
Application forms can be obtained from the Cashel Lions Club Secretary, Marie Gayson by sending an email to [email protected]. The closing date for returning completed application forms is Monday, September 23rd 2024.
The Corby Meaney bursaries will be allocated to students in late September and are intended to give financial assistance to students who are faced with the range of financial challenges involved in starting a course in a university or college. The Bursaries are funded through donations made by the late Ms Corby in memory of her husband, a founding member of Cashel Lions Club and the late Pat Meaney who donated funds to a number of good causes.
Applications from students in Cashel and neighbouring parishes will be considered as this relates to the Cashel Lions Club District.
