Over 5,000 people are expected to attend the Cappamore show on Saturday August 17th.  The show field has been prepared and entries and exhibits are being accepted in the show field at Ballyvoreen this evening until 9.30pm. A one-way traffic system will be in effect in Cappamore tomorrow to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.

The event is devised to appeal to families and people of all ages with a strong focus on agricultural enterprises.  Between noon and 2pm Tom Hartnett and Clodagh Cummins will host a special Lunchtime show as Tipp Mid-West Radio broadcast live from Cappamore. Live music will begin from 2pm featuring Sandy Kelly, Dave Lawlor and Olivia Douglas alongside plenty of dining options.

The event will feature an array of livestock classes, show jumping, a dog show, a bonny baby show, two cookery demonstrations with Edward Hayden presenting.  In addition, there are classes for horses, ponies and goats and the traditional Show categories for a wide range of produce and adult and children’s crafts. Full details can be found on the Cappamore website and social media channels.
