The Irish Blood Transfusion service is appealing for blood donors to attend a clinic in Cappawhite tomorrow evening

To meet a 6% year on year increase in demand from hospitals the service is seeking to recruit 15,000 new blood donors this year. The clinic at Cappawhite Community centre tomorrow evening commences at 4.50pm with the final appointment available at 8.10pm.

Appointments may be made by phoning 1800 222 111.  New donors are especially welcome.Full details of the donation process including pre-donation screening and upcoming clinics can be found on the IBTS website at this link here.
