Duhill Community Council in conjunction with Galty Vee Valley Heritage Group are running a Heritage Week event in Duhill Hall, Castlegrace, Clogheen, Eircode E21 H677 on Saturday 17th August from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 18th August from 10am to 3pm. Photo exhibition and church tours, This is a free event.

Tipperary Heartland Tourism Group will hold a fundraiser in Jim o’ the Mills, Upperchurch on Saturday 17th August comencing at 6.30pm. Its a very much a family event with games and activities such as duck races, bouncy castle, skittles, etc. And there’s music and a barbaque as well.

West End Residents Association are holding a community/family day in the PLAN on Sunday 18th August from 2pm to 5pm. Art Competition for U12’s on the theme of Tipperary Town landmarks. Fancy Dress Competition for U12’s. Music, face painting, hair braiding and more. All welcome.

Lisvernane ICA outing on Tuesday the 20th of August to Curraghmore Estate and Gardens, Portlaw. A trip to the Japenese Gardens, to the beach and to Dooley’s for Fish and Chips. Knocklong / Glenbrohane Parish Pilgrimage to Lough Derg. Going on Tuesday 3rd September for 3pm Mass in Knock, with an overnight stay in Ballyshannon. The one day retreat will take place on Wednesday 4th September. If interested in travelling, contact Bridget by text or phone 086-3594571.
