Tipperary Racecourse is to hold it’s Summer BBQ event alongside a 7 race card this evening. Doors will open at 3.30pm with the first race off at 4.45pm.
The crème de la crème of Irish racing will be in action including Ryan Moore and Colin Keane and horses from Champion Trainer Aidan O’Brien.
The feature race is at 6.25pm the Coolmore Churchill Stakes – the meeting features flat racing on this occasion although the versatile track also holds national hunt meetings at other times of the year.
The venue is to undergo a major revamp in the coming 24 months with the installation of an all-weather race track.
After the races conclude the venue hopes racegoers will enjoy the BBQ and live music from Little creatures.
Andrew Hogan the track manager says the event is an ideal activity for a Summer evening and is extending his thanks to two main sponsors for this evenings event Donovan Transport and The Junction Gastro Pub and Guesthouse.
