Tipperary’s Senior Camogie Team Suffer One Point Defeat To Galway

Tipperary’s Senior camogie team suffered a one point loss to Galway on Saturday in the All Ireland Semi-Final game in Kilkenny.  The final score was Tipperary 1 – 11 Galway 1 – 12. The loss is the second year in a row that the Senior Team have lost a semi-final by a point and is their 6th loss at the semi-final stage in 7 years. Tipperary have not reached the final since 2006 when they lost to Cork. Tipperary’s last senior title was won in 2004 part of a run of 8 consecutive all Ireland Final appearances between 1999 and 2006.  

Galway will not take on Cork in the 2024 final on August 11th. The Tipperary Junior team have qualified for their All Ireland Final where they will take on Laois also on August 11th as part of a triple header of Junior, Intermediate and Senior Finals.
