The Tipperary town Music Festival organisers are committing to holding the event for a third time in 2025. The committee recently met to present €1,500 to the South Tipperary Hospice movement via The Tipperary Vintage Rally Club – the Club has raised over €300,000 for the South Tipperary Hospice movement since it was established in 2018. Members of the club are closely associated with the Festival and assist with the venue management and stewarding during the event.

The four day festival is likely to be held at the same venue in Bank Place next year according to Committee Chairperson Eamon Ryan who thanked LIDL for providing access. The events are held in the evening in a specially installed Marquee which includes a bar, toilets and a smoking area.

Country music promoter John O’Brien says planning for 2025 is underway with certain performers in mind for Tipperary town. The event included a Tina Turner Tribute Act Rebecca O’Connor in 2024 alongside top performers, The Tumbling Paddies,  Claudia Buckley,  Johnny Brady and Mike Denver.  Mr Ryan also extended thanks to Tipperary Co-Op the main sponsor of the event which also secured funding from Tipperary County Council under the Festival and Events Grants programme.
