As the supply of social housing gradually increases in county Tipperary the council is this week offering a total of 28 new homes on the Choice Based Letting(CBL) system.
Only applicants for social housing approved for the property size available can seek one of the homes – all 28 are in Clonmel and consist of 3 one bedroomed properties, 16 two bed properties and 9 three bedroomed homes.
The Council is reminding applicants to ensure they properly record their expression of interest in the home otherwise they will not be considered.
Full details and a video to demonstrate how to use the Choice Based Letting System is available on the Council website at Tipperarycoco.ie.
Applicants must also have registered to use the CBL system. Under the Choice Based Letting Scheme only the successful candidates will be notified.
Almost 900 social houses are in the pipeline at various stages of design, awaiting funding approval or under construction in the county and will be delivered by 2026.
At present there are over 3200 approved applicants on the Social Housing List in county Tipperary.
