The kitchen and Mustard Seed Café at the Community Services Centre in Tipperary town will be closed for 3 days next week – July 17th to 20th inclusive.
The closure is necessary to allow construction works in the kitchen area including the installation of a new kitchen floor.
Funds for the project which has an estimated cost of €10,000 were secured via €2,300 raised in a Social Hurling Tournament in Tipperary town in January, €7,000 in grant aid from the National Lottery and from the Centre’s own resources.
The centre has advised it’s regular customers and people using the Meals and Wheels service of the temporary closure.
No Meals will be delivered on July 17th,18th, or 19th.
Those using the service have been advised to take an extra delivery on Tuesday 16th or to make alternative arrangements.
The Community Services Centre can be contacted between 9am and 2pm Monday to Friday by telephoning 062 51622.
