Clinics will be held in Cashel and Tipperary town this week for people seeking faster access to healthcare. The clinics are part of an initiative launched by Councillor John O’Heney to provide information and clinical assessments for people considering travelling to Belfast for treatment at Kingsbridge Hospital. The clinics provide access to the Northern Ireland Planned Healthcare Scheme where the patient pays the upfront costs which are later reimbursed by the HSE. A wide range of medical procedures are covered by the scheme.
Clinics will be held at the Spafield Family Resource Centre in Cashel on Wednesday July 10th between 3 and 5pm and in Tipperary town on Thursday July 11th at the Tipperary Excel Centre between 10am and 1pm. Enquiries telephone 087 751 1550.
